Ron Skilton Memorial Half Marathon and 12k
The event is organised by Green Events and is held as a memorial to a club member who died from Motor Neurone Disease. The program includes a half marathon and a 12k race, with the 12k introduced in 2024 and a revised half marathon route trialled from 2025.
The half marathon route is mainly off road and is approximately 13.25 miles long. The course runs through mountainous terrain and is described as scenic. The competition is open to anyone aged over 16 years. Entry fees are quoted as £20 per person for online entry and £25 on the day. Online entries close a week before the race but entries are accepted on the day. Registration takes place at the Neuadd Arms Hotel.
