Event details
The Resolution Run 5k takes place on 25 January 2026 at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells (LD2 3SY). The race is organised by Builth and District Running Club and is run mostly within the showground. The course has been amended for 2026 to remove the small hill used in previous years, resulting in a flatter route. Chip timing will be used by Ready, Set, Go. Total places are limited to 200.
Entry, prizes and facilities
Advance entries close on Friday 23 January 2026. Entry fees are: in advance £12.00 for WA/SA/EA affiliated runners and £14.00 for non-affiliated; on-the-day entries are listed as £14.00 affiliated and £16.00 non-affiliated. Minimum age is 11 years on race day; under 18s require parent or guardian consent. Prizes are for the first three men and women overall and for first man and woman in age categories (excluding the first three overall) in V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65 and V70+. Parking and toilets are available on site and refreshments will be provided. Results will be published on the club website and Facebook page and will be uploaded to Run Britain/Power of 10.
