Resolution Run 5K 2026
The Resolution 5k event is scheduled for 25 January 2026 at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells. It is organised by Builth and District Running Club and sponsored by The Lamb Inn, Builth Wells.
The course is run mostly within the Showground. The route has been amended this year to remove the small hill used in past years, resulting in a flatter course with improved potential for faster times.
Entry fees are held at the 2025 level: in advance £12.00 for UKA affiliated runners and £14.00 for non‑affiliated runners. On-the-day entries are accepted at £14.00 affiliated and £16.00 non‑affiliated. Advance entries close at 8pm on Friday 23 January. Total places are limited to 200. A discounted rate applies for members of WA SA EA. Minimum age is 11 years on the day; under 18s require parent or guardian consent.
Prizes are awarded to the first three men and first three women, plus first man and woman in age categories excluding the top three overall. Age categories include Under 17, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65 and V70 plus. Chip timing is provided by Ready, Set, Go and results will be published online and loaded to Run Britain/Power of 10. A race licence is held via Welsh Athletics.
On-site facilities include hard standing car parking, toilets and refreshments. Refunds, transfers and deferrals are not accepted; entries will be carried over if the event is postponed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
