Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run
The Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run is an iconic 5k chip-timed race held in Hove Park, Brighton, on flat park pathways. Organized by the Brighton & Hove FrontRunners, a local LGBTQ+ community running club, the event takes place on a summer evening just before the Brighton & Hove Pride Parade. Known for its vibrant, festival-like atmosphere, the race encourages fancy dress and features enthusiastic local support at the finish line.
Participants aged 14 and over receive bespoke medals, with the medal color changing annually to complete a rainbow set. The event supports the Allsorts Youth Project, benefiting LGBTQ+ youth, and offers themed merchandise with proceeds donated to charity.
