Romero Animal Foundation 5K
The Romero Animal Foundation 5K is the 2nd Annual Run For Their Lives at Zoo Miami, held on January 24, 2027. The event is a 5K run and walk through a scenic course inside Zoo Miami and includes onsite rescue animal adoptions and opportunities to meet adoptable pets.
Proceeds support the Romero Animal Foundation and its work in Miami-Dade County. Funds are directed to veterinary care, food programs, rescue efforts, spay and neuter initiatives, and adoption services. The event lists $1,545 donated toward a $10,000 fundraising goal.
