Rogers Run 5K and 1 Mile Run in Red Hook
This is a grassroots, annual community run and walk held in Red Hook, New York. The event began in 2011 and is named for a local young man born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC). It is organized to raise awareness about AMC and to raise funds for related support.
Proceeds have been donated to the AMCSI support group and have funded scholarships for Red Hook High School seniors pursuing education in physical or occupational therapy and physical education. In 2025 the Red Hook Raiders Sports Club took over organization of the event and continues to donate a portion of proceeds to AMCSI while supporting sports programs in the Red Hook school district.
