Texas Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - Dallas
The Texas Red, White and Blue Half Marathon is a trail-based running event held at Anderson Bonner Park in Dallas. Organized by the Bigfoot Running Company, the races take place on paths that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt surfaces.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different goals:
- Kids Dash: A 50-meter non-timed run for children age 10 and under.
- 2 Mile Run: A non-timed event for all ages and experience levels.
- 4 Mile Run: A chip-timed race featuring overall and age group awards.
- 8 Mile Run: A chip-timed race featuring overall and age group awards.
- Half Marathon: A chip-timed 13.1-mile race on the trail course.
- Virtual Run: A remote participation option for the 13.1-mile distance.
Participants in the timed events (4 mile, 8 mile, and half marathon) are eligible for overall male and female trophies, as well as age group recognition from youth categories up to 70 and over. All finishers across all distances receive a medal and a race shirt.
The race site features a rally tent with a DJ and live award announcements. Aid stations are positioned along the course to provide water to runners. Finishers have access to snacks and bottled water after completing their distance. Packet pickup is available on-site before the start of the races.
