Event overview
The Rodeo Run, presented by ConocoPhillips, takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Proceeds benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The course starts at the corner of Walker and Bagby and finishes on Allen Parkway near Eleanor Tinsley Park, where a post-race party is held.

Participation, logistics and rules
Participants can race in person, choose the Sleep-In option, or donate. Early bird registration ends January 12. Online registration is available until the day before the event or until the race is sold out. Packet pickup is offered onsite or via mail for an additional fee; in-person packet pickup is scheduled at Kroger, 1035 North Shepherd Drive, Houston, with additional pickup on race day near the finish area.
Wheelchair racers must use chairs with brakes and wear helmets; hand crank and cycle wheelchairs are not permitted. All finishers receive a medal. Trophies are awarded to Overall and Masters winners and to top age-division finishers in the 5K and 10K. Parking is available in public garages in downtown Houston and the Theater District; fees may apply. The event is rain or shine; unsafe weather may result in cancellation and registration fees treated as donations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
