Rodeo Run presented by ConocoPhillips
Rodeo Run is a fundraising road race whose proceeds benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The event includes in person race options, a Sleep In option that provides an official event performance shirt without running, and a donor option with tiered recognition.
The race course starts at the corner of Walker and Bagby and finishes on Allen Parkway near Eleanor Tinsley Park, where a post race party and runner meet up area are held. Packet pickup is available on assigned dates at a Kroger location, and packets may be mailed for an additional fee.
Race offerings:
- 5K
- 10K
- 10K Wheelchair
- Sleep In option with event shirt
Race and participation details noted by the organizer include required brakes and helmets for wheelchair competitors and a prohibition on hand crank or cycle wheelchairs. Participants in timed races receive a bib with a timing chip, and all race finishers receive a medal. Corral A is available for runners who submit qualifying times; 5K runners in Corral A are eligible only for Overall and Masters awards and not for age group awards. Registration fees and early bird pricing were published by the organizer, and the event registration for the 2026 edition is listed as sold out.
