Rodeo Run presented by ConocoPhillips
Rodeo Run on February 27, 2027 benefits the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The event begins with a wheelchair race and includes timed and untimed running and walking options in the 5K and 10K distances. The race starts at the corner of Walker and Bagby and finishes on Allen Parkway near Eleanor Tinsley Park where a post-race party and runner meet-up area are located.

Participants in the timed races receive a bib with a timing chip, a performance shirt, and a finisher medal. All finishers receive a medal. Corral A is offered for runners who enter qualifying times; runners in Corral A line up at the front of the field and are eligible for Overall and Masters awards with specific eligibility rules for 5K Corral A entrants.
Additional information includes a Sleep-In option that provides an official event shirt without running and a donor option that supports the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with tiered tokens of appreciation. Packet pickup is available at Kroger, 1035 North Shepherd Drive, on assigned dates prior to the event and on race day at Allen Parkway under I-45. Public parking garages in downtown Houston and the Theater District are available for participants and parade viewers; separate parking fees may apply.
The event is held rain or shine; unsafe conditions may prompt cancellation and registration fees will be treated as donations. Certain rolling devices are prohibited and headphones are discouraged for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
