Steps for Students 5K
Steps for Students 5K is an annual event held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Houston, Texas. The event benefits the 55 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The day typically includes a Sunrise Mass, a sanctioned 5K race, and a post-race party in the Catholic School Village. In 2025, more than 10,000 people registered and the event raised over $900,000 to support the schools.

Registration for the 5K Untimed is noted to close on January 31, 2026 at 11:59pm CST and to re-open on February 1, 2026 at 12:00am CST.
