Rockwall Kiwanis Tri Rock Triathlon
The event takes place on August 2, 2026 at J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall in Rockwall, TX. It includes three event options: a Sprint Triathlon, a Triathlon Relay Team category, and a Virtual Triathlon.
The Sprint Triathlon consists of these distances:
- 150 yards pool swim
- 10 mile bike
- 5K run
The Triathlon Relay Team category allows teams of two or three participants. Relay teams share one race number and one timing chip. The timing chip is passed between team members at the bike racked in the transition area; the swimmer gives the chip to the cyclist, and the cyclist gives the chip to the runner. All relay team members must check in individually at packet pickup and must each hold their own USA Triathlon membership. Fees are listed per person.
The Virtual Triathlon can be completed at any location and allows participants to walk, use a treadmill, ride on a trainer or cycle outdoors, and swim in a pool or open water. T-shirt and finisher medal will be mailed the week after the race, with shipping only within the United States.
