Rocktown Adventure Race
The Rocktown Adventure Race takes place November 7-8, 2026 at Massanutten Resort Basecamp in Massanutten, VA. The event is part of the USARA Series and uses single-track trails at Massanutten Resort and areas of the Shenandoah Valley near Rocktown (Harrisonburg), VA. Ropes sections are being coordinated for the course. Races end with food and awards at the Resort Basecamp patio area.
Events, format and fees
There are two main race durations and multiple entry formats:
- 5 Hour events on November 7 for solo and teams of two, three, or four.
- 30 Hour events spanning November 7-8 for solo and teams of two, three, or four.
Disciplines listed for the 30 Hour event include mountain bike, trek, paddle and ropes. The 5 Hour event lists mountain bike, trek and ropes. Volunteer roles are available for both 5 Hour and 30 Hour events. Published entry fees are $135 for 5 Hour entries and $315 for 30 Hour entries; volunteer registration is free.
