Rockin Choccolocco 50K - 25K - 10K
Rockin Choccolocco is a trail race day held on April 24, 2027 in Heflin, AL, organized by Pinhoti Trail Races. The event includes multiple distances and a kids fun run, all using sections of the Pinhoti Trail and facilities at Cahulga Creek Park, 343 Mountain St.
Distances
- 50K point-to-point on the Pinhoti Trail, finishes at Cahulga Creek Park.
- 25K lollipop course starting and finishing at Cahulga Creek Park.
- 10K out and back starting and finishing at Cahulga Creek Park.
- Kids Run short fun run at Cahulga Creek Park.
Most of the courses run on single-track trail through the Talladega National Forest and include scenic overlooks, creek crossings, lakes, hardwood and pine forest. The 50K uses the Heflin Spur for its final segment. Time limits are published for each distance. Aid stations are provided along the courses; some locations offer water only. Restrooms are available at the start and finish of all races. Packet pickup is handled at Cahulga Creek Park. Bus transportation from Cahulga Creek Park to the 50K start is available for an additional fee. Online entry is processed through UltraSignup. The event policy states no refunds, no race day registration, no transfers, and no deferrals. Camping at Cahulga Creek Park is available with a donation to the city; restrooms are available but there are no showers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
