Event overview
The 14th Annual Rockin Choccolocco takes place on April 25, 2026 in Heflin, Alabama. The finish area is at Cahulga Creek Park, 343 Mountain St. The event features multiple trail races on the Pinhoti Trail network through the Talladega National Forest, with single-track trail, scenic overlooks, creek crossings, lakes, and mixed hardwood and pine forest.

- 25K - lollipop course starting and finishing at Cahulga Creek Park
- 10K - out-and-back from Cahulga Creek Park on the Heflin Spur and Pinhoti Trail

Course details and support
The 50K starts near Greenleaf Dam on FS 532 and finishes at Cahulga Creek Park. The 25K travels north on the Heflin Spur to Shoal Creek Trailhead, follows the Pinhoti Trail to High Rock, then returns to Cahulga Creek Park. The 10K runs north on the Heflin Spur onto the Pinhoti Trail before turning around and returning to the park.
Time limits are published for each distance: 50K - 9 hours 30 minutes; 25K - 6 hours; 10K - 4 hours. Aid stations are located along each course with mile markers listed for the 50K (including FS 540 at 6.2 miles, Pine Glenn at 16 miles, High Rock at 23 miles, and finish at 32 miles). The event provides packet pickup at Cahulga Creek Park the day before the races and race-morning packet pickup at the respective start areas. Bus transportation from Cahulga Park to the 50K start is available for a fee. Camping is available at Cahulga Creek Park for a small donation; restrooms are provided, no showers.
