The event offers trail races on the Pinhoti Trail near Heflin, AL, with courses routed through the Talladega National Forest. Distances available:

The 50K is a point-to-point trail that follows the Pinhoti Trail and connects to the Heflin Spur for the final two miles, finishing at Cahulga Creek Park, 343 Mountain St, Heflin. About 95% of the 50K is single-track trail. Runners will pass scenic overlooks, creek crossings, lakes, and hardwood and pine forests. The 25K is a lollipop course starting and finishing at Cahulga Creek Park and uses the Heflin Spur, Shoal Creek Trailhead, sections of the Pinhoti Trail, and forest service roads. The 10K is an out-and-back from Cahulga Creek Park along the Heflin Spur and Pinhoti Trail with an early turnaround.
Time limits are published for each distance. Packet pickup is on the Friday before the event at Cahulga Creek Park. Bus transportation from Cahulga Park to the 50K start is available for a fee and tickets may be purchased during registration. Restrooms are available at start and finish areas. Aid stations are positioned along each course. Awards include top overall and age-group placements and a finisher medal for all finishers. Entry is online only; there are no refunds, no race day registration, no transfers, and no deferrals. Camping is available at Cahulga Creek Park for a donation.
