Half Naked Half Marathon
The Half Naked Half Marathon is an annual running event held in Anniston, Alabama, starting from the McClellan Park Medical Mall. The event features two specific distances on an out and back course design:
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 6.55 Miles (Quarter Marathon)
The 13.1 Miles course is a certified route, allowing for official time validation. The 6.55 Miles option is designed for participants who wish to conclude their run at the designated turnaround point. Both distances utilize chip timing to record participant results.
Participants in both the half and quarter marathon receive a long sleeve t-shirt. Those who complete the full 13.1 Miles distance are also awarded a finishers medal. The event recognizes performance through age group awards, which are distributed based on 10 year increments for both race distances.
The course remains open for three hours from the start of the event. After this period, the course closes and any remaining participants proceed independently. Members of the Anniston Runners Club and Gadsden Runners Club are eligible for a registration discount, though this does not apply to series bundle pricing.
