Wisconsin Lakeside Half Marathon & 5K
The Wisconsin Lakeside Half Marathon & 5K is scheduled for September 26, 2026 in Monona / Madison, Wisconsin, with race activity centered at Winnequah Park. Online registration is reported closed; in-person registration and packet pickup options are available.

- Kid’s Half Mile (ages 5 to 11, stays within Winnequah Park)
The half marathon follows paved paths and tree-lined streets along the shores of Lake Monona, offering cooler conditions for much of the route and extended views of the Madison skyline. Runners encounter fall foliage along the course and pass under the Frank Lloyd Wright Monona Terrace Convention Center near mile 6. The 5K follows paved roads through neighborhoods around Winnequah Park.
Aid stations are placed approximately every two miles. All participants receive an official race shirt and a finisher medal; shirts are a tri-blend and may not be guaranteed after September 18. The Kid’s Half Mile includes medals, bibs, shirts, and treats.
The event concludes with a Finish Line Festival featuring live music, unlimited pours of craft beers and cider, and food available for purchase. The event is produced by Madison Events Production and medical support is provided by Align Wellness Services.
