The Wisconsin Lakeside Half Marathon & 5K
The Wisconsin Lakeside Half Marathon & 5K, previously known as the Rockin Brews Marathon, takes place in Monona, Wisconsin. The event features multiple distance options that utilize the scenic areas around Lake Monona and Winnequah Park.
The Half Marathon course is conducted on paved paths and tree-lined streets along the shores of Lake Monona. The route provides views of the Madison skyline and passes under the Frank Lloyd Wright Monona Terrace Convention Center at approximately mile 6. The course is described as having moderate hills and is shaded by trees for a significant portion of the distance.
The 5K course consists of paved roads through the neighborhoods surrounding Winnequah Park.

Participants receive an official race shirt and a finisher medal. Aid stations are situated approximately every 2 miles along the course. After the races, the Finish Line Festival offers live music and unlimited pours of craft beers and ciders for participants.
