Rocket Run 5K
The Rocket Run 5K is the second annual community race held at Conotton Valley High School in Bowerston, Ohio (7205 Cumberland Rd SW, Bowerston, OH 44695). The course starts and finishes on the 50 yard line of the high school football field and follows scenic back roads around the area.
The event program includes a 5K Run/Walk with two registration options: a standard entry that includes a race shirt and a no-shirt entry. A separate youth offering is available: a free Rocket Dash for children age 12 and under that consists of a lap around the football field beginning and ending at the 50 yard line; Rocket Dash participants receive a medal. Registration is required for children who wish to run or walk the 5K distance.
Chip timing is provided by Run to You Racing. Awards for the 5K are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three male and female in each age group: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Registration for the 5K opens January 1, 2026; the deadline to register and receive a shirt is May 29, 2026. Youth 5K registration remains open through the event date.
