Trail Running at Oakes Quarry Park
The Rock the Quarry event takes place at Oakes Quarry Park in Fairborn, Ohio. This trail race utilizes a landscape characterized by limestone cliffs and wooded sections. The course provides views of the local quarry and features rugged terrain throughout the park grounds.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances held on the same day:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 15k (9.3 miles)
The event is held in a natural setting involving various trail surfaces. All participants who complete their chosen distance receive a finisher medal. For those who register by early April, a short-sleeve race shirt is included with the registration fee. Registrations submitted after this designated date do not include a shirt.
