Splish Splash 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Splish Splash takes place at Splash Zone Aquatic Center in Springfield, Ohio, with courses that start and finish at the waterpark. The running routes are out-and-back on the paved Simon Kenton Trail heading north, and much of the course is shaded.

The 5K and 10K are timed and results will be posted. The 5K has a water station at the turnaround. The 10K has water stations at mile 1.5 and mile 4.7. No age-based awards will be given for the timed races; every participant in those events will receive entry into the Splash Zone waterpark and a Splish-Splash prize.
The 1 Mile Fun Run is an out-and-back on the paved trail and is open to participants of all ages. No official timing or places will be recorded for the fun run. Parents or guardians with younger children may turn around before the half mile point and complete the course at the Splash Zone finish line; participants choosing that option should expect to get wet.
An exclusive after race party inside Splash Zone will follow the races and will include food, drinks, snacks, treats, music and prizes. Splash Zone features water slides, a lazy river, a bowl slide, zero-depth beach entry, a spray ground, a 25-yard competition pool, diving boards and ADA accessible entry and lifts. Children 17 and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 or older who must remain inside the waterpark. Every responsible adult over 18 needs to be registered for a race to gain access to the party.
Registration opens 05/23/2026 and closes 07/01/2026. Registration fees listed are $20.00 for the 5K and 10K and $15.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
