Rock The Doc 5K & 1K Fun Run
Rock The Doc 5K & 1K Fun Run is scheduled for June 27, 2026, at Lakefront Trail in Little Elm, Texas. The event honors the life and service of Dr Robert J Dennington, Little Elm’s first orthodontist and a longtime community leader. Proceeds benefit the Little Elm Area Food Bank.
The event includes two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk - timed; awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
- 1K Fun Run - untimed; no awards.
All finishers of both the 5K and 1K will receive a participation medal. The 5K awards cover multiple age categories from youth through 70 and over. Parking is free at the race site. Packet pick-up is available the day before at The Elm Hotel and at the race site on race day.
The organizer is North Texas Rhythm Runners, a nonprofit running club focused on promoting health, wellness, and community engagement through running and walking activities.
