Murphy 15K, 10K and 5K, Murphy, Texas
AMPT Running Co. presents the 8th annual Murphy event on Saturday, June 27, 2026 in Murphy, Texas. The race offers three distances and includes both road and trail sections through Collin County.
A new 15K distance (9.3 miles) replaces the previous half marathon due to updated course restrictions within the City of Murphy. The change preserves a longer-distance option for runners and walkers.
All three courses are USATF certified. The courses highlight local scenery with trails and views of Murphy and Parker, Texas. The 5K is a scenic out-and-back from the venue. The 10K and 15K run along the streets of Murphy and through country scenery in Parker, with a route that passes Southfork Ranch.
All race participants receive a finisher medal and a gender-specific tech tank while supplies last. A virtual option is available for the 15K, 10K and 5K; virtual entries include a shirt, medal and bib, and virtual packets ship approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the event for US continental addresses.
The event benefits The Warrior Dog Foundation, a nonprofit that transitions working K9s into retirement by providing rehabilitation and rehoming options for military and law enforcement dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
