Murphy 15K, 10K & 5K : Murphy, Texas (Saturday, June 27, 2026)
The event offers three race distances:
- 15K (9.3 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
The 15K replaces the former half marathon due to updated course restrictions within the City of Murphy. All three courses are USATF certified and showcase trails and local scenery in Collin County, with views of Murphy and Parker, Texas.
The 5K is a scenic out-and-back course from the event venue. The 10K and 15K route runners along the streets of Murphy and through country scenery in Parker. Runners on the longer courses pass by Southfork Ranch.
All in-person participants receive a finisher medal and a gender-specific tech tank while supplies last. The event benefits The Warrior Dog Foundation, a nonprofit that transitions working K9s into retirement by providing mental and physical rehabilitation and rehoming options for Military Working Dogs, Contract Working Dogs and law enforcement K9s that otherwise would be euthanized.
A virtual race option is available for the 15K, 10K and 5K. Virtual entry ($46) includes a shirt, medal, bib and shipping and handling; virtual packets are scheduled to ship approximately 4–6 weeks after the event and are for US continental addresses only.
In-person pricing varies by distance and registration date; the published ranges for 2026 show early to race-day tiers for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
