Murphy 15K, 10K and 5K : Murphy, Texas
The event offers three USATF certified distances and is scheduled as the 9th Annual race on June 26, 2027. The race is part of AMPT’s multi-race series; participants who finish all six series events, in-person or virtual, receive an acrylic base to display their 2026 medal collection.
Course notes describe the 5K, 10K, and 15K routes. The 5K is a scenic out-and-back course from the venue. The 10K and 15K run along the streets of Murphy and through country scenery in Parker, with a course that passes the Southfork Ranch. The 15K was introduced in 2026 to replace the half marathon and measures 9.3 miles.
All race participants receive a finisher medal and a gender-specific tech tank while supplies last. A virtual option is offered for the 15K, 10K and 5K; virtual packets include a shirt, medal and bib and are shipped approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the event date to US continental addresses. The event benefits the Warrior Dog Foundation, a nonprofit that transitions working K9s into retirement and provides rehabilitation and rehoming options for military and law enforcement dogs.
