Event overview
The Rock N Wool Wine Run is a 5K run/walk held at Rock N Wool Winery in Poynette, Wisconsin (W7817 Drake Rd, Poynette, WI 53955). The event is open to ages 1 to 99. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine for eligible participants. Course and on-site services
The course starts and finishes at the winery and is a two-lap, cross-country style route on grass. It includes a loop around a pond, trails through pine-covered areas, and laps through the vineyard. The course is described as relatively flat and will be marked with arrow signs. Free race photos are available for download. Food and beverage options are available on site after the event, including a restaurant, a coffee truck, and a Mexican food truck.
Entry, awards and options
Entry pricing is listed at $30 with a reduced rate for ages 1-20. The event uses 10-year age categories and awards the top three finishers in each category. Age group awards are available for pickup on race day only. A virtual participation option is offered, including packet pickup or packet shipping for an additional fee.
