16th Anniversary Rock N' Run
The 16th Anniversary Rock N' Run takes place on May 22, 2027, at Jefferson Park (formerly Coca-Cola Park) in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The event offers in-person races at the park and virtual options that can be completed at a participant's chosen location during the month of May.
Available distances include:
- 5K (in-person and virtual)
- 8K / 5 miles (in-person and virtual)
- Mile-A-Day Challenge : 31 miles (virtual)
- Kids Fun Run : 400 m (in-person, free)
The Kids Fun Run is free and limited to the first 125 participants. The in-person kids event includes a pre-race warm-up led by local mascots and a single lap around the Coca-Cola Park warning track; parents may accompany young runners.
Proceeds support The Salvation Army's Foster Care & Adoption Program. May is recognized as National Foster Care Month, and the event notes that virtual and in-person participation helps raise awareness and funds for local foster care services.
Registration follows tiered pricing: an early bird period through October 31, 2026, a standard period from November 1 through April 30, 2027, and a late registration window from May 1 to May 22, 2027, with fees varying by distance and format. Virtual participants who register before April 15, 2027, receive a t-shirt and race certificate; shipping for those items is available for an additional fee. The Racejoy app is offered for pacing, cheers, and result submission, with manual result submission also allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
