15th Anniversary Rock N' Run
The Rock N' Run celebrates its 15th anniversary at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This event coincides with National Foster Care Awareness Month and supports the Salvation Army’s Foster Care and Adoption Program. The program provides services and homes for children in foster care. Participants can choose between several road races and virtual challenges.
Live events held at the stadium include:
- 5 Miles: A road race starting at the park.
- 5K: A 3.1-mile running race.
- Kids' Fun Run: A free event consisting of one lap around the Coca-Cola Park warning track.
The Kids' Fun Run includes a pre-race warm-up with local mascots and is limited to 125 participants. Parents are permitted to accompany children on the course.
Multiple virtual options are available for completion throughout the month of May at any location:
- Virtual 5 Miles: A self-paced run or walk on a location of the participant's choice.
- Virtual 5K: A 3.1-mile distance that can be tracked via a mobile application.
- Mile-A-Day Challenge: A 31-mile total challenge where participants complete one mile per day.
For the live 5-Mile and 5K races, runners may use the Racejoy app for pacing and results submission, though manual results submission is also available. Virtual participants receive a digital race bib. Those who register for virtual events by mid-April are eligible for a t-shirt and race certificate.
