16th Anniversary Rock N' Run
The Rock N' Run takes place on May 22, 2027, at Jefferson Park (formerly Coca-Cola Park) in Allentown, PA. The event includes both in-person and virtual options across several distances and formats. Live, in-person events are held at the park; virtual events can be completed at a participant's chosen date and location during the month of May.
Distances and formats include:
- 8k in person and virtual
- 5K in person and virtual
- 400 m Kids Fun Run in person, free and limited to 125 participants
- Mile-A-Day Challenge virtual, complete 31 miles during May
The event supports The Salvation Army’s Foster Care & Adoption Program and raises awareness during National Foster Care Month. For live 5K and 8k participants, the Racejoy app is available for pacing, cheers, and results submission; manual result submission is also accepted and instructions are provided. Virtual participants may receive a race bib by email, and registrants who sign up before April 15 will receive a t-shirt and race certificate; shipping is available for an additional fee.
The Kids Fun Run includes a pre-race warm-up led by local mascots, one lap around the park warning track, and allows parents to accompany young children on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
