Rock and Run for Mental Health 2026
This event takes place at Rochester Community Park, located at 90 Wild Rose Ln. in Rochester, Illinois.
It is described as a live music, running, and wellness event focused on mental health. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual 5k (Volunteers Only)
Proceeds from the event fund free counseling sessions for uninsured individuals and others in need.
The event schedule includes a 5K start and a 1-mile start shortly after. A band named The 66 Ramblers performs live music during the event. Food and beverages will be available from Brezie's Roasted Beans and Blessing & More Bakery. Wellness vendors will also be present, with a list of previous vendors provided.
Packet pickup is available on Saturday before the event at M Fitness Health and Wellness in Springfield, or on race day at the park pavilion next to the playground. Shirts and medals must be picked up during packet pickup times; shipping is not available. Registrations after August 16, 2026 will not receive a hoodie, and medals are available while supplies last at the finish line.
Awards are given at 10:30 a.m. for the top two finishers and top age group winners, with age groups in five-year intervals. The 5K course starts near the pavilion, goes clockwise from the park, north to Lost Bridge Trail, east to Main & Illinois Ave., and west back towards the park. The 1-mile route is a U-shape from the pavilion, following the park path around the pond. A water stop for the 5K is located at the corner of Main & Illinois Ave. Restrooms are available at the park pavilion, concession stand, and near the football fields.
