Rochester Women’s 4-Mile Race : Event details
The Rochester Women’s 4-Mile Race is scheduled for July 25, 2026, at East Shelter Silver Lake Park in Rochester, Minnesota. The event is open to anyone who identifies as female; runners under 18 race for free. The course is described as flat and consists of two loops around Silver Lake, with the start and finish at the Silver Lake East Shelter. Post-race refreshments will be provided.
Distances offered:
- 4 Mile Run in-person and virtual
- Girls' 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual 4 Mile option with a submission window
Packet pick-up and logistics include an in-person packet pick-up at Minnesota Treads on the Friday before the race, additional packet pick-up and donation drop-off on race morning, and a virtual packet pick-up beginning the prior Wednesday. Virtual participants have a multi-day window to complete and submit results.
Awards and raffle details: overall awards for first through third place in the 4 Mile Run, plus first-place awards in multiple age groups (12 & under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & over). Overall award winners are not eligible for age group awards. All registered in-person 4 Mile runners are automatically entered in a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
A diapers and wipes drive for the Jeremiah Program will collect sizes 5 and 6 and wipes; preferred brands are Pampers, Huggies, and Kirkland. Donations dropped off during packet pick-up or on race morning qualify for a bonus raffle ticket. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
