Turkey Day 5K - Kasson
The Turkey Day 5k is a family friendly run and walk held on Thanksgiving morning at 13 West Main Street, Kasson Mini Mall / The Main Alternative in Kasson, MN. The event offers two course options: participants choose between
- 5k (3.1 Miles)
- 2.5k run or walk
Both distances use the same registration link. Registration opens August 5, 2026 and closes November 25, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00.
Refreshments and post-race provisions are provided: water, coffee, and hot chocolate are supplied by the Dodge County Salvation Army, and post-race snacks will be available to participants. Alcoholic beverages including Bloody Marys and Screwdrivers will be available after the run for participants age 21 and over.
All race registration proceeds and any extra donations will be split and donated to the Food Shelf in Kasson and to the Dodge County Salvation Army to support individuals and families in Dodge County. The event includes a costume contest with a prize for the winner and additional prize drawings. Race t-shirts are offered in sizes from Youth Medium to Adult XXXL; availability for shirts is tied to the organizer's registration deadline and may not be guaranteed for late registrants.
