The 4th Annual Turkey Day 5k takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Kasson, MN (55944). The event offers two distances; registration covers either distance and the price is the same for both:
- 5k
- 2.5k
Registration fee is $32.80 (includes a $2.80 fee). Age pricing listed: $6.30 for ages 0-4, $16.90 for ages 5-15, and $32.80 for ages 16-105. Registration closes on November 26, 2025. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by November 11, 2025, at noon; sizes range from Youth Medium to Adult XXXL.
Course, amenities and charity
The start/finish area is listed as 13 West Main Street at the Kasson Mini Mall / The Main Alternative. The 5k route was changed to include a short section of trail at Restoration Park near North Kwik Trip; the trail portion is about 1/4 mile and may have uneven ground. Water, coffee and hot chocolate will be provided by the Dodge County Salvation Army, and post-race snacks will be available. Alcoholic beverages (Bloody Marys and Screwdrivers) will be available to participants 21+ after the run/walk. All registration proceeds and extra donations will be split between the Food Shelf in Kasson and the Dodge County Salvation Army. Costumes and a costume contest are part of the event.
