Robot Run : Eleventh Annual
The event takes place at River Winds in West Deptford, New Jersey, as part of the annual STEAMfest. It includes a 5K run and a 1 mile walk held on October 10, 2026.
Both distances are offered:
- 5K 5 kilometer run
- 1 Mile 1 mile walk
Registration opens April 15, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00 per entry. Registration by September 15 guarantees a t-shirt. Teams may be created during registration.
Awards are given in the 5K to the top three male and female overall finishers and in age groups including 14 and under, 15 to 19, and 10 year age groups up to 60 and over. Awards are custom made by South Jersey Robotics members.
Both the 5K and the 1 mile walk courses are stroller friendly. Pets are not permitted in the park. The event is organized by South Jersey Robotics, a 100 percent volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides STEAM programs for K–12 students in Gloucester, Cumberland, Camden, and Salem counties. Second Capital Running, a boutique racing company based in Vineland, New Jersey, supports the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
