Eleventh Annual Robot Run
The Robot Run is a community running event taking place on 10/10/2026 at RiverWinds Community Center in West Deptford, New Jersey during the STEAMfest. The event program includes a 5K run and a 1 mile walk and is organized by South Jersey Robotics with support from Second Capital Running.

The 5K awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to age groups including 14 and under, 15-19, and successive 10 year age groups up to 60 and over. Teams can be created during registration. Both the 5K and the 1 mile walk courses are stroller friendly and pets are not allowed in the park. Registration opens on 4/15/2026 and registration fees are listed as $30 for each event. Participants who register by September 15th are guaranteed a t-shirt.
South Jersey Robotics is a volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on STEAM programs for K–12 students in Gloucester, Cumberland, Camden, and Salem counties. The organization describes its mission as providing mentor-based programs that build STEAM skills, leadership, and confidence through hands on activities.
