Event Overview
The Robinette's Wine Run 5k is a 5 km run/walk that starts and finishes at Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Course Information
The course is described as a scenic tour of the vineyards. It is mostly cross-country style, with some sections on grass and uneven ground. Organizers note that it is not suited for achieving a personal best running time. The event proceeds regardless of rain.
Registration Details
Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine at the finish. A discounted registration is available for minors, which includes a shirt, medal, and bib but not the wine glass or wine.
Awards and Timing
The race is chip-timed. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each category (19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over). To be eligible, competitive runners must start with the first group or wave.
Other Information
Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to the uneven course terrain. Dogs are not allowed on the farm property. Packet pickup is available the day before the event at the winery and on race morning. The event has a charity partner, Nik’s Wish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
