Course and logistics

The course starts and finishes at the winery and runs through the vineyards. The route is described as mostly cross-country style with grass and uneven areas. The race proceeds in most weather; the director may delay the start in cases of severe weather or lightning.

Additional details

Packet pickup is at the winery on April 10, 2026 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, with race-day pickup also available. A virtual participation option is offered, including an option to have a packet shipped. Age group awards are given to the top three in each ten-year category and must be picked up on race day. The event’s charity partner is Nik's Wish. Rules for alcohol: ID is required for hard cider, participants under 21 receive a non-alcoholic cider, and consumption must occur within designated areas. Dogs on leash are allowed but cannot enter the winery. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate free.
