Robert J. Lynes Memorial Road Race : Meriden, CT
The Robert J. Lynes Memorial Road Race takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Hubbard Park, 999 W Main St, Meriden, CT 06451. The event is the fourth annual running of this road race and includes a 5K run/walk and a kids fun run held just before the 5K. The race is presented in memory of a lifelong Meriden resident.

Entry is online registration only. Published 5K entry fees are $25 for registrations before September 30, $30 for registrations before November 1, and $35 thereafter. The Kids Run is free. T-shirts are listed for all 5K registrants who register before October 17, 2025.
Proceeds and monetary donations go into the Robert J. Lynes Memorial Fund for the preservation and beautification of Hubbard Park. Past race proceeds have funded a park bench, the planting of additional daffodil bulbs, and a donation to the local Daffodil Festival for its 45th anniversary fireworks display.
Awards are offered for the top three men overall, the top three woman overall, and first place in each age group. A raffle of gift cards and baskets follows the race; each race registrant receives a free raffle ticket.
