Purpose, registration and awards
Proceeds and monetary donations go to The Robert J. Lynes Memorial Fund for preservation and beautification of Hubbard Park. Past race proceeds funded a park bench dedicated to Robert J. Lynes, purchases of daffodil bulbs, and a donation to the Meriden Daffodil Festival for an anniversary fireworks display.
Entry is online registration only. The 5K registration fee varies by date, with lower fees for earlier registration and higher fees for later registration; the kids run is free. T-shirt availability and exact fee dates are listed by the organizer. Awards include top three men overall, top three women overall, and first place in each age group.
