About the race
Roaring Run DFW is a women focused running event held at 3201 Riverfront Dr., Fort Worth, TX on April 24, 2027. The event offers races for adults and a short kids dash so children can participate as well.
Distances offered
- 5K (3.1 miles) race, registration fee $42.50
- 10K (6.2 miles) race, registration fee $45.50
- Little Roaring Run (0.25 miles) kids dash, registration fee $12.75
Registration opens July 17, 2026 and closes September 13, 2026. The first 200 registered participants receive a custom race themed bib. Registration includes a bib and a finisher medal; a race theme shirt is available as an add on.
On site features include local vendors, a glitter station, a bib bedazzle station, temporary tattoo station, music and photo opportunities. The event is described as female only and emphasizes community and social aspects among participants.
Awards are given three deep in age groups (0 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 and over). Overall awards include Overall Female, Overall Masters 40 plus, and Overall Grand Masters 60 plus. Awards are distributed at the event only and are not shipped, so participants should check results before leaving.
Volunteers are needed for roles such as early packet pickup, race day check in, and water station crew. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
