Event Overview
The Rivian 5K is a running event offering two distances on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Normal, Illinois.

The event takes place at Heartland Community College, specifically at 1500 W Raab Rd. This is the third annual edition of the event. It is organized to benefit two local nonprofits: the Ecology Action Center, an environmental sustainability agency for McLean County, and Friends of the Constitution Trail, an advocacy group for a local trail system.
Participant Information
Participants must register and pay before arriving for bib pickup. Bib pickup is available on Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Fleet Feet Bloomington, or on race day at the Community Commons Building on Heartland's campus. Parking is available adjacent to the Community Commons Building and elsewhere on the college campus.
Post-Race Activities
Participants receive a Rivian commemorative pin, an ornament, and a plant from Reinhart Landscaping upon completing the race. Rivian 5K shirts are available for purchase at the event. After the race, light refreshments will be provided, and Rivian vehicles will be on display for exploration.
An after-party begins at 1:00 PM at White Oak Brewery, where additional refreshments from Healthy in a Hurry will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from White Oak Brewery during this event will benefit the two nonprofit organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
