Riverway 5K

The Riverway 5K is the second annual community race held on May 30, 2026, in downtown Conway, South Carolina. The event is organized as a non-profit benefit for Winyah Rivers Alliance, with proceeds designated for conservation efforts, water quality monitoring, and environmental education programs. The course begins at the City of Conway water tower near the Waccamaw River, and the event includes both a 5K race and a fun run.

Packet pickup is available the night before and on race day. Participants in the 5K will receive a race shirt while supplies last; the shirt cutoff date is April 28. Awards for the 5K include top overall male and female, top masters (40+) male and female, and top three male and female in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

Location details: 110 Laurel Street, Conway, SC 29526, at the City water tower and downtown area adjacent to the Waccamaw River.
