Riverview Ramble Half Marathon
The Riverview Ramble event in Mt. Carmel features a half marathon plus timed shorter races along the Wabash River with views of the historic Bluff City. Distances offered at the event include:
- 13.1 Miles Half Marathon
- 6.2 Miles 10K (timed)
- 3.1 Miles 5K (timed)
The start and finish are located at Mt. Carmel Merchant’s Park at the intersection of 4th and Market Streets. Race packet pick-up is scheduled for Thursday and Friday at the Mt. Carmel Public Utility office at 316 N Market St; office hours are 8:30-12 and 1-4:30. A copy of registration is required to collect a packet. Limited race day packet pick-up will be available and there are no race day sign-ups.
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each race by the following age groups: 1-12, 13-17, 18-25, 26-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up. Cash prizes are awarded to the overall top male and female in each race: $50 each for the half marathon, $25 each for the 10K, and $25 each for the 5K.
