Riverside 5K Remembrance Run
The Riverside 5K Remembrance Run takes place in Riverside, New Jersey. This event features a flat and fast course that concludes with a downhill section into the downtown area. The race is scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026, coinciding with local Memorial Day activities including a parade and official ceremonies.
The event is open to both runners and walkers. Participants are required to complete the 5 km distance within one hour, maintaining a minimum pace of 19 minutes per mile. After this time limit, the course reopens to regular vehicle traffic. All proceeds from the event benefit the Riverside-Delran VFW 3020.

Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 150 individuals who register. There is no option for same-day registration on the morning of the event. Packet pick-up is held at the Riverside Police Station located at 1 West Scott Street.
Awards are presented to the first place overall male and female finishers. Additionally, prizes are available for the top three male and female finishers in several age categories, ranging from 13 and under to 70 and over. Participants are requested to bring identification and are encouraged to use the River Line or carpooling for transportation to the venue.
