Riverbank Run for the Cheese
The Riverbank Run for the Cheese takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The event is based at the Galaxy Theatres on Patterson Road in Riverbank, California.
The event offers several race distances:
- A 1 mile flat loop around a neighborhood.
- A 5k on a gently rolling, tree-lined residential course.
- A 10k on gently rolling residential streets, run as a two-loop course.
The 10k event has a 90-minute cutoff time to finish. Walkers and participants with baby strollers are welcome on the 5k course. Strollers are also allowed in the 10k, but only for runners; walkers are not permitted on the 10k course.
Online registration closes on October 7, 2026. In-person registration and packet pickup are available at the Riverbank Galaxy Theatre on Friday, October 10, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and on race day from 6:15 AM until 7:50 AM.
There are separate registration categories for adults (18 and over) and youth (17 and under), with options to purchase a race shirt or register without one. Virtual race options are also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
