Riverbank Run for the Cheese
The Riverbank Run for the Cheese celebrates its 50th anniversary in Riverbank, California. The event base is located at the Galaxy Theatres on Patterson Road. Participants can choose between several distances conducted on residential courses.
There are three primary course distances available:
- 1 Mile: A flat loop through the local neighborhood.
- 5 km: A course featuring gently rolling terrain along tree-lined residential streets.
- 10 km: A two-loop course on gently rolling residential streets.
Specific participation guidelines apply to each distance. The 5 km course is open to both walkers and those using baby strollers. The 10 km course has a 90-minute time limit for completion; walkers are not permitted on this course, though baby strollers are allowed for those who are running. A virtual option is also available for those who wish to complete their chosen distance independently.
Registration options include categories for adults and youth aged 17 and under. Participants can register for single events or combinations of distances. Registration packages are offered both with and without event shirts. In-person packet pick-up is held at the Riverbank Galaxy Theatre on the day before the event and on the morning of the races.
