River to Bay 5K

Event overview

The 34th Annual River to Bay 5K is an in-person race scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Island Heights, New Jersey. The event is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Toms River and uses a USATF certified course. The race is limited to the first 750 participants and will run rain or shine. All proceeds benefit local youth and charitable organizations.

Early bird registrants who register by April 7, 2026 save $10 and are guaranteed a race shirt in the correct size. Race registrations are non-refundable. Awards: 1 mile awards include top 3 male and female overall and top 2 by several youth age groups; medals for all 1 mile fun run participants. 5K awards include top 3 male and female overall and top 3 by multiple age groups up to 80 and over.
