About the race
The 35th annual River to Bay 5K is an in-person running event held on May 1 at the Wanamaker Municipal Complex in Island Heights, New Jersey. The event takes place rain or shine and is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Toms River. The 5K course is USATF certified. Event options include: - 1 Mile Fun Run - 1 Mile Health Walk - 5K Run - 5K Health Walk - T shirt only purchase option The field is limited to the first 750 participants.
Proceeds benefit local youth and charitable organizations. The 5K Run registration includes a race shirt; other entry types may require an additional fee for a shirt. Early bird registrants who register by April 6 save $10 and are guaranteed a race shirt of the correct size; shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for later registrants.
Race registrations are non-refundable. Participants must agree to the applicable USATF waiver as a condition of registration. The event acknowledges support from sponsors, including Vision Financial Services and Gateway Toyota. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
