34th Annual River to Bay 5K Classic
The River to Bay 5K returns for its 34th edition in Island Heights, New Jersey. Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Toms River, the event takes place on a USATF certified course. The race is held in person and continues rain or shine. Participation is limited to a maximum of 750 registrants.
The event offers varied distances and participation categories to accommodate different preferences:
- 5K Run
- 5K Health Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 1 Mile Health Walk
Registration for the 5K Run includes a race t-shirt within the fee. For participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run, 1 Mile Health Walk, and 5K Health Walk, the race t-shirt is available for an additional cost. The event also offers a separate registration option for those wishing to purchase a t-shirt without participating in a race.
Proceeds from the event are directed toward local youth programs and various charitable organizations. The race starts and finishes near the Wanamaker Municipal Complex. Participants in the 5K Run who register before the early bird deadline in early April are guaranteed a shirt in their specific size. All registrations are final and non-refundable.
