Event Details

The 34th Annual River to Bay 5K is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Island Heights, New Jersey. The event is organized by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Toms River and will be held rain or shine. Participation is limited to the first 750 registrants.

Courses

The event offers five separate activities:

1 Mile Fun Run
1 Mile Health Walk
5K Run on a USATF-certified course
5K Health Walk
T-Shirt Only (no event participation)

Registration & Fees

Early bird registration by April 7, 2026, offers a $10 discount on the standard fee and guarantees a race shirt in the correct size. Shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after this date. All registrations are final and non-refundable.

Awards

Awards are presented for both the mile and 5K events. Top overall finishers and age group winners are recognized. All participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run receive a medal.

Charity

All proceeds from the event benefit local youth and charitable organizations in the community.
