Cupid's Chase 5K Lake Como
Cupid's Chase 5K in Lake Como, New Jersey, is the local stop in a national race series that marks the founding of Community Options. The event is the 19th annual race and supports fundraising for housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
The course is a certified 5K (3.1 miles) with professional timing. Results will be posted immediately after the race. The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. Participants include runners, walkers, families with strollers, wheelchair participants, and sponsors.
Registration for the local 5K opens on June 8, 2026; the registration fee for the 5K is $40. To guarantee an event shirt, registration should be completed by January 1, 2027; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last.
Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group medals for male and female finishers in these groups: 12 and under; 13 to 15; 16 to 19; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 to 69; and 70 and over.
