River Run Geelong

River Run Geelong is an annual running event held at Barwon Valley Park, Belmont, featuring 10km and 5km run/walk distances. The event attracts up to 1,500 participants, with fields limited to 950 for the 10km and 550 for the 5km. The course offers scenic views, with multiple drink stations and first aid support along the route.

All finishers receive a medal, and age group and overall winners earn medals and trophies. The event supports River's Gift charity, dedicated to stamping out Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
