River Rat 5K and 1K

The River Rat event offers two distances: a 5K and a 1K held at Crane Meadows Wildlife Refuge in Little Falls, Minnesota. The 5K takes place on a hard crushed rock surface, is wheeled for accuracy, and uses chip timing provided by Wayzata Results. The course has minimal hills and provides views of nearby lakes and the river. Crane Meadows features wildlife exhibits, an educational center, and a spotting scope.

A free fun run is included and walkers are welcome. There is a discount for runners ages 15 and under; the listed savings are applied during checkout. Results are made available online after finishing.
