River Rat Races 5K and 1K
River Rat Races offers a 5K run or walk and a 1K fun run at Belle Prairie Park in Little Falls, Minnesota. The park is along the Mississippi River and is nestled among large red pines. The site includes a disc course, picnic area, and playground.
The 5K course is on asphalt, described as flat and fast. Chip timing is provided by Wayzata Results. The 1K is presented as a fun run led by the River Rat. T-shirts are available with a no shirt option, and the event provides refreshments and prizes. Results are posted online when participants finish. Walkers are welcome.
