About the race
River Ranch Resolution Run is a trail running event at River Ranch County Park in Liberty Hill, Texas (194 Reveille Way). The park covers about 1,354 acres of meadowlands, woodlands, hills and escarpments and includes the South Fork of the San Gabriel River and roughly 20 miles of hiking and equestrian trails. Wildlife reported in the park includes porcupine, coyotes and whitetail deer, and the property features large live oak trees estimated to be over 500 years old.

The event uses two aid stations including the race hub at the start/finish. The 5k has no on-course aid station; the 10k, half, marathon and 50k each pass one on-course aid station plus the race hub. Fully serviced aid stations provide a variety of foods and drinks such as cookies, PBJ sandwiches, fruit, pickles and pickle juice, sports drinks, Tailwind, Saltstick, soda, coffee, hot chocolate, ramen and warm food options. The event is cupless; participants are expected to use their own cup, water bottle or hydration system.
All finishers receive medals; an additional medal is available for those who attempt a distance but do not finish. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers for each distance. Packet pickup is available the day before and onsite the morning of the event. There are no pacers allowed.
