Old Town Rudolph Run : Old Town Leander, TX
The Old Town Rudolph Run is a chip-timed 5K race held on December 5, 2026, in Old Town Leander. The event is hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center and starts and finishes at W. Willis St. and Bagdad St. (Start/Finish: 201 Bagdad St.).
The course is described as mostly flat and fast with no hills or rough terrain. Participation is limited. Every 5K entrant receives a shirt of their choice and a custom color finisher's medal. All finishers receive a medal at the finish line.
The event is stroller friendly and dog friendly; dogs must be on a leash and only friendly dogs are allowed. The finish line will close at 1 hour 20 minutes after the race begins to reopen the road; runners who have not completed the course by then will be redirected to the Leander Chamber of Commerce office to collect their medal.
Packet pickup is at the Leander Chamber of Commerce (103 N. West) on Thursday, December 3, and Friday, December 4, from 9:00 to 17:00. There is no packet pickup the morning of the race. Unclaimed packets may be collected the following week; all packets must be picked up by December 15 if the entrant did not participate but still wants their packet.
Awards follow the race. First place gold medals are given to the top finisher in each male and female age category: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
Parking is available in LISD lots surrounding Old Town and along Old Town streets; additional parking options include Broade St. Directions from Crystal Falls Parkway use S. West Drive toward Old Town. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
