Old Town Rudolph Run
The Old Town Rudolph Run is a chip timed 5K held in Old Town Leander on Dec 5 2026. The course begins and finishes at the corner of W. Willis St. and Bagdad St., with the official start and finish located at 201 Bagdad St. The event is organized by the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center.
The route is described as mostly flat and fast with no hills or rough terrain. The race is stroller friendly and dog friendly; all dogs must be on leashes and only friendly dogs are allowed. Every 5K entrant will receive a high quality shirt and a custom color finisher medal at the finish line.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each male and female age category: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. The finish line will close 1 hour 20 minutes into the event; participants not yet finished will be redirected to the Chamber of Commerce office to collect their medal.
Race packets may be picked up at the Leander Chamber of Commerce at 103 N. West on the two days before the race. No packet pickup will be allowed the morning of the race unless coming from out of town. All packets must be claimed prior to race day.
Parking is available in LISD lots surrounding Old Town and along nearby streets. For access from Crystal Falls Parkway, follow S. West Drive north toward Old Town; these lots are not accessible from 183. Additional parking is available along Broade St. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
