Old Town Rudolph Run
The Old Town Rudolph Run is a chip-timed 5K held in Old Town Leander and hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center. The course begins and finishes at W. Willis St. and Bagdad St. and runs through the streets of Leander. The route is described as mostly flat with no hills or rough terrain.
Every 5K entrant receives a shirt of their choice and a custom color finisher's medal. Awards include a first place gold medal for the top finisher in each age category for male and female competitors; age categories range from 12 and under to 70 and over. All finishers receive a medal as they cross the finish line.
The event is stroller friendly and dog friendly; dogs must be on leashes and only friendly dogs are permitted. Race packets can be picked up at the Leander Chamber of Commerce (103 N. West) on the Thursday and Friday before the race, from 9:00 to 17:00. Packets are not available on race morning except for participants coming from out of town; all packets must be claimed prior to race day if not picking up on those days.
Parking is available in LISD parking lots surrounding Old Town and along the streets of Old Town, including Broade St. Some lots are accessed via S. West Drive rather than 183. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
