Course, rules and facilities
Parking is at the lot at the listed address; participants are asked not to park in front of the launch area. From the lot, walk south away from the Schuylkill River Trail, cross the road, then walk downstream (east) about 200 yards to the launch on the right. There are no restroom or changing facilities onsite; the nearest restroom is at the Betzwood trailhead parking lot, about 600 meters from the launch.
The 5K swim course is three loops; the other swim events are single loops. The organizer will not provide hydration stops for most swim courses; 5K swimmers may place personal nutrition near the start/finish and at mile marks. The SwimRun includes a small, unfenced transition area; transition times are not recorded, only swim and run splits. An aid station will be set near the swim exit and will be passed multiple times during the 5K run. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in 10-year age groups.
Wetsuit rules follow USAT thresholds: wetsuit wearers may be excluded from official results above 78º F, and wetsuits are prohibited above 84º F. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
