Event Details
The event is a 5 km run/walk. It starts and finishes at an event barn inside a south vineyard at Rivaura Estate Vineyard and Winery on Hewett Road in Juliaetta, Idaho. The route goes through the vineyard, west on Hewett Road towards Spaulding Park, includes a turnaround point, and returns via the same path.
Participant Information
Registration includes a commemorative T-shirt, a wine tumbler, and a choice of a glass of Rivaura's Cab Franc Rosé or a glass of River Ranch Brewing Co. beer. Participants under 21 receive a glass of sparkling cider. Child and youth size T-shirts are available. The entry fee is $48, with a discounted price of $30 for children aged 6 to 12. Children aged 5 and under participate for free.
On the event day, the event barn opens early. Music, food, drinks, and other items are available before and after the event. Last year, over 600 people participated. This is the sixth year of the event.
Charity Cause
A portion of the event's proceeds and all donations go to fentanyl awareness causes. The event is held in honor of Cal Daniel Heinen and coincides with National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
