Donut Dash 10K - Moscow, ID
Donut Dash is a 10 km event in Moscow, Idaho, offered as a solo race or a relay. The course is run as six loops that begin at the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI) stage and pavilion and will be marked with PRR cones. Primary parking is at PCEI; if that fills, additional parking is available along the west side of N. Polk Ext. Organizers ask that Lola Clyde Park parking remain open to the public.
Each team or solo entrant receives a box of six donuts at check-in. At the start of each loop the designated runner must eat a whole donut in the starting area before leaving; only the active runner may eat during that loop and team members wait until the runner returns. Donuts are not gluten-free or vegan; participants with dietary restrictions may bring their own donuts but registration fees still apply.
PCEI is a "leave no trace" area and permission has been given to use the trails. Runners must consume donuts in the starting area and pack out their trash. Littering may result in a ban from future PRR events at the race directors' discretion.
Registration notes: only the team leader or the solo runner needs to register; other team members sign waivers on race morning. Registration closes July 9 at 11:59 PM PT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
