RISE UP! Run Over Cancer 5K : Rocky Mount, NC
The Carolina Strive RISE UP! Run Over Cancer 5K takes place on 11/21/2026 at 600 Independence Drive, Rocky Mount, NC. The event is a city-wide race to raise funds for area cancer research and treatment; proceeds stay local and support the UNC Health Nash Foundation’s Cancer Fund.
The Foundation uses event proceeds to fill gaps in health care and community outreach beyond the hospital’s regular operating budget. Funds from this race will be directed to assist cancer patients with needs such as medication, transportation, and nutritional supplements.
Race services and amenities include event check-in, individual awards across multiple age ranges, and participant keepsakes. All 5K participants receive a Carolina Strive drawstring bag, a Carolina Strive hand towel, and a one-size-fits-all wristband. Every participant will receive a personal time and a certificate. Event shirts are available for pre-order for $20 and must be ordered by November 4, 2026.
Registration fee schedule:
- $25 through November 7, 2026
- $30 November 8–20, 2026
- $40 on the day of the race
Teams of four or more receive a $5 registration discount. The organizer is a 501-C3 nonprofit organization; donations are 100% tax deductible.
