RISE 8K Undercliff Run for Women 2026
The RISE 8K Undercliff Run for Women will take place on 18 October 2026 along the Undercliff Path adjacent to the Whitecliffs Café in Saltdean, postcode BN2 8SQ. The route follows the Undercliff Path from Saltdean towards Brighton and returns along the same path, running alongside Sussex chalk cliffs.
The event is firmly established on the Brighton running calendar and is in its 19th year. It serves as RISE's signature annual fundraising event and attracts participants interested in a coastal running experience.
All participants receive an event medal, a goody bag, fruit and water and a slice of home-made cake at the finish. An event village on site provides a help desk, toilets, baggage storage, food and drink and music.
On the course there will be route marshals, a water station, medical support and chip timing. Lead bikes and tail walkers are provided to support safety and pacing during the run.
