Ripple Effect: A Pride Run
Ripple Effect is a community Pride event on June 14, 2026, hosted by The Flying Tortoises at Dovetail Cafe & Marketplace, 1917 W Superior Street, Duluth, MN 55806. The event includes a free, out-and-back run of 3 miles along the Cross City Trail, starting and finishing at Dovetail Cafe & Marketplace. Road crossings along the route will remain open; volunteers will be positioned at each crossing to support participant safety. Attending the accompanying drag show does not require participation in the run or walk.
Registration is free and open through June 14, 2026. The event suggests donations to WE Health Clinic; each $10 donated through registration or on the day earns one raffle ticket for a prize basket valued at over $300. Donors and attendees may receive raffle tickets during the event. The prize basket contains items from local contributors including Warrior Printress, Nordic Performance, Duluth Pottery & Tile, Dovetail Cafe, and Tortoise & Hare Footwear.
Event merchandise is available for purchase; 25% of each shirt sale is directed to WE Health Clinic, with the remainder covering production costs. The event is presented as a grassroots community effort; organizers and participating businesses do not take profit.
