Riot Run 5k @ Prison City Brewing Company
The event takes place at Prison City Brewing Company in Auburn, NY on 09/26/2026. It includes an in-person, chip-timed closed-course 5K race that starts and ends next to the brewery, plus a virtual 5K option for participants who run off-site.
The on-site course runs through the heart of Auburn and finishes at the bottom of State Street near the brewery area. Results include overall male and female awards for places 1 to 3 and age-group awards in 10-year categories.
Post-race activities are located at the brewery and the adjacent street festival area. The afternoon program includes live music, yard games, and a festival atmosphere with beer available from the host brewery.
Event registration and fee options vary by entry type, and some race items are offered as optional upgrades. Swag and merchandise noted for the event include custom Riot Run race socks, an optional race shirt upgrade, a Riot Run custom koozie for the Mass Riot beer, and an optional charity and team upgrade that includes a trucker hat.
A separate Stein Hoist Challenge follows the awards ceremony. Competitors hold a full half-liter of Prison City beer in a glass stein; the winner receives entry to the next year’s race.
