Ringtown Loop 5K
The Ringtown Loop 5K is an annual community running event held at the Ringtown Recreation Complex in Ringtown, Pennsylvania. This event takes place every year on the third Saturday in June and is sponsored by the Ringtown Recreation Committee. The proceeds from the event are used for the upkeep and maintenance of the Ringtown Recreation Complex facilities.
The event features two distinct distances for participants:
- 3.1 Miles: The Loop 5K race for runners and walkers.
- 1 Mile: A non-timed fun run for children aged 12 and under.
The competition is open to both runners and walkers, providing an opportunity for different types of movement on the course. Registration for the event typically opens in March and stays available until a few days before the race. Participants gather at the recreation complex located at 126 Zion Grove Road to take part in this local tradition, which is celebrating its 17th year.
