Ringer Run 5K
The Ringer Run 5K marks its 10th anniversary as an event supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Proceeds from the event are donated to local programs, including A Haven and the Joseph J. Ringhoffer Memorial Fund, which supports Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Penn State.
The race village is located at Pocket Park in Eagle Crossing, situated at the intersection of Station Boulevard and Route 100. Parking is available at the Pickering Valley Elementary School on Byers Road. The course primarily utilizes a closed, paved path and features various local landmarks, including a covered bridge, a tunnel, a church, and surrounding wetlands.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 5K Run: A physical race on a paved course in Chester Springs.
- Virtual Run: A 3.1 mile distance that participants complete at any location and through any method, such as running, walking, or cycling.
The physical event includes a race village featuring sponsors, raffles, and face painting. Registered participants receive a soft shirt and a finisher medal. Following the run, there is an after-party held at The Stables located across the street from the race site. Registration is conducted exclusively online, as no onsite registration options are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
