Event overview
The Ring Out the Old race is scheduled for January 10, 2026, at Woodley Park in Encino, California (6076 Woodley Ave, Encino, CA 91316). The event offers the following distances:

- Half Marathon
The event is organized by High Tide Runs and medals are provided by High Tide Runs or parent company Mercury Events. All finishers receive a medal. First place overall male and female awards are given in each distance. Parking is available free in the park lot, with additional parking on Woodley Avenue.
Course and support
The 5K is one out-and-back, the 10K is two out-and-backs, and the Half Marathon consists of two laps around the park plus a 5K section. Routes cross grass, go under the road through a tunnel, and enter the Lake Balboa Park area. Final routes may be adjusted for weather.
Multiple water stations are located along the courses. The finish area has an aid station with water, electrolytes, and snacks. First aid kits are available at each station and crew members have received CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk and runner turn signs. The courses use open park paths and participants are asked to be considerate of other park users. Gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag.
