Ring Out the Old – Encino, CA
The Ring Out the Old race takes place on December 27, 2025, at Woodley Park, 6076 Woodley Avenue, Encino, CA 91316. The event offers these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Free parking is available in the park lot, and additional parking is available on Woodley Avenue.
Course and race services
The routes run across grass, through a tunnel under a road, and inside the park. The 5K completes one loop that circles the lake and returns. The 10K is one loop that goes to the other side of the park and returns along a different path, passing under a bridge. The half marathon uses the 10K route plus an added out-and-back section and is run as two laps. Courses are on open paths and users are asked to be considerate of other park visitors.
Multiple water stations are located along the routes. The finish area includes an aid station with water, electrolytes, and snacks. First aid kits are available at each station and crew members have received CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk and runner turn signs. Bibs should be worn on the front of the shirt. A gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag. Overall first place male and female in each distance receive medals. Race results and photos are sent by email the day after the event; race photos are free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
