About the race
Season's Greetings in Long Beach is a holiday-themed running event on December 5, 2026, held along the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA 90803. The event offers multiple distance options on an open, shared beach path; runners should be courteous to pedestrians, cyclists, and other users.

The course uses out-and-back loops on the beach path. The 5k is an out-and-back route; the 10k is two 5k loops; the 15k is three 5k loops; the half marathon is three 4.36-mile loops. A turnaround aid station at the start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Course markings and a map are provided by the organizer.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free videos and photos, live results, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, Ascend Index ranking and crew features, and a free event app. Assorted snacks and samples are available. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race only and are not mailed. Group discounts are available; volunteer opportunities can be exchanged for a free race entry. Transfers require an email request and no refunds are offered. Paid beach parking is available via ticket machine or parking app (zone 9372); residential parking is free.
